"Transformers"

Aaron, my Bro, Dad and I went to see a seek peek of Transformers at the Fashion Square Mall. We got the tickets through a friend at work who also works at a super rad toy shop called Uberbot. The movie started at 7:30pm and when we got there at 6:15 the line was already a hundred or so people deep. After chowin' down some mall food we finally got to see the show. This was one of the coolest movies i've ever seen, the production was great and the acting was on point as well. I felt like a kid again watching the film and can wait to see it again.

"Legal Hustle"

My son Aaron has been asking me for a while if he could spray paint a brick. After that he says he wants to add some features with some acrylic paint, maybe some eyes or cool volcano he thinks. So I let him start to bang out his first legit piece of graffiti and start to think about possibly taking him to the Orlando Museum of Art in Downtown O-Town. I've never been and think it would be a good outing for the both of us so I decided to toss it out there. Needless to say, he would rather sit back at the house and play video games in the comfort of his own home then to hang with his Dad Downtown all day....... "I'VE CREATED A MONSTER"

"What Up Dunny?"

There's a sick lil' shop in Orlando called Uberbot that sells one off toys, Asian and American vinyl, comics , clothes , candy from Japan and all sorts of other endless shit that i don't need but lust for like a nice "HJ". Anyway, they were set to drop a new set of "Dunnys" from Huck Gee ( If you don't know what Dunny, I don't have enough time to explain) called Shogun and Geisha limited to 300 of each piece worldwide for $100 a piece at 7:00 p.m., and to make a long story short, Buddy sold them all out before noon. Now, I cant hate for the man wanting to make some cash but shit, the one place I thought had standards. To make that even more funked up, people are exploiting them on E-Bay and selling them for #350 to $1000. Like I said, Im not gonna hate but this is what kills it........oh, but they did hook it up with an advanced screening for Transformers on Thursday.

"My Brothers a Saint"

My brother Jay went to Chicago on business last week and stopped by St. Alfred's and scooped me up some Jordan III's and a ill tee. He also picked up some Garretts Popcorn, its gotta be the best carmel corn ever made. He says the line is mad long but its totally worth it and I couldn't agree more....

"Last of a Dying Breed"

Yes!!! Something about a shuttle launch just brings me back to the old school. Every-time I see it, it reminds me of Elementary and watching it lift-off with my friends. I saw the Discovery blow back in kindergarten and I still get nervous when it goes up till this day. I also believe i got my first bit of "play" while watching a launch out at Cocoa with some friends. The NASA Shuttle program is ending in 2010 so I try to watch everyone. I think it's kinda fresh that we are starting a space race with China, maybe their astronauts will have NIKE space boots or some kind of crazy spacecraft. They are very smart people and maybe a collaboration isn't to far-fetched. What if we teamed up and started some new shit. We are all polluting our earth with toxins and should come together to find another planet to destroy.

"Sunshine"

This is Carter Jay, he's a pretty smart guy with some real good ideas. He may seem a little older but he's got a sick sense of fashion. You'll see em' in polos and diappies when he's chillin, but he hits the club with the rarest Nikes, Weeboks and the occasional dress shoe. He told me about a pretty cool site called www.solepedia.com, it list every Nike Dunk ever made with pictures, retail price, fake ebay sellers and tons of other info.

"Catch & Free 5.0"

I hit up the pond in the backyard this afternoon for some fishin' and pulled out this guy in minutes. He complimented me on the Free 5.0's and I kindly sent him back on his way.

"Covert Operation"

So it was a long week and it looked like it was going to rain all afternoon, I figured what a better way to end a busy week then with a fresh pair of kicks and a tall pint with some homies. I scored these NIKE Classic SB from the friendly neighborhood COVERT which has been flavor-ably dressing the better part of the "O" for years. I was also very happy to see it's sister store BETA open up with promise. After ripping through all the goodies we shot next door to the Bull & Bush for some tall pints of Stella and a smoke. If you have never been to the B&B then you're missing out. Its a hole in wall Irish Pub with a real old school feeling. Everyone there is mad cool and they have tons of different beers for a rainy day like yesterday. Big ups to Covert and Bull & Bush for stayin' true and reppin' Orlando properly.....now if it will only stop raining so i can rock em'
